Chapter 5: Abnormal Juzo paced as he waited for word from Shizan. Usually examining and if necessary, dealing with new souls is a task typically left to one person. A team of three was assigned in this particular case, seeing as the target was the child of shinigami. They took turns observing and waiting for an opportunity to get close enough to get a reading. So long as the kid was normal, no harm would have to befall the child. It was more difficult to get close since the incident from fifty years ago had not yet been forgotten. Central 46 has long been wary of the balance of authority between their own rule and the military force of Gotei. Chapter 2: Creation of a Soul Roughly three and a half months passed before what Gin had reported to Aizen became common knowledge. Rangiku only had a couple of months left and it was showing. Chapter 3: The Baby Time passes quickly when you’re busy. For those hunting in the outer districts it felt as though the day drained more rapidly than pouring water through an open hand. Renji was surprised that even he managed to work up a sweat. He’d assumed the only hollows that made it into Soul Society were weaklings that managed to slip through the Twelfth Division’s radar. Perhaps that was initially true, however it’s likely that even weak hollows built up strength over time, being allowed to feed unhindered.
